A blinking flashlight can help you save battery life when you don’t need constant light. For example, if you are night hiking, you can use a blinking flashlight to illuminate your path intermittently. This way, you can conserve your battery power and extend the runtime of your flashlight.
Or you can use it to signal your presence to others. Different people could choose different colors to be identified with.
Just thinking 🙂

Thanks everybody for the replies. I recently had the chance to test a Huawei smartwatch and found out about this blinking Flashlight feature. Here's how it works, out of curiosity :) https://consumer.huawei.com/ca/support/content/en-us15927041/

Hi Gordon,
That's odd, I agree. Minify apps was unchecked, but I tried removing and reinstalling everything anyways, and I'm still seeing this error in the Web IDE:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Got EOF expected '}'
at line 90 col 593 in setting.app.js
...wTapSpot();}showMainMenu();Any other ideas / suggestions? :)

I have the latest stable 2v19 firmware, but I can’t access the watch settings. When I click the menu item, the wtach freezes before the menu shows up. I have tried resetting the phone, deleting all the apps and reinstalling them, but nothing works.
Has anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it? :)

Hello everyone. I apologize if this is a common question, but I can’t seem to find a solution. Is there a way to completely turn off the display on the Bangle.js 2 after some time, until I use the watch again? I don’t mean just dimming it, but turning it off :)
While i can do it on the Bangle.js, I cannot on the Bangle.js 2
Thank you for your patience.

Hi Gordon, thanks for replying. I was viewing it on the Recorder app and on both Runtastic and Runalyze GPX import tools. This morning i tried to turn the watch off and back on and now the track files get the right date. Before that, i kept getting 01/01/1970. If it happens again I will try and see what might be the cause.
Thanks again :)

First of all, I apologise if this has already been discussed in the forum. I've just started reading all the posts find them very interesting.
I was thinking that it would be very interesting to have a way to access the internet from the watch, to receive and/or send small chunks of information (for instance, weather conditions, current value of a stock in exchanges, short news, etc.). Do you know if this will be possible in the future, perhaps by using a companion app on your smartphone to act as a proxie/gateway?
Thank you, Gordon! I want to confirm that I've received the information: "Your current firmware version is 2v20 and DFU is 2v20."
Apologies for the delayed response. I was offline over the weekend.
Thanks again for the clarification :)
