@Gordon Thanks for changing the threshold. Is it for the Bangle.js fork of Gadgetbridge or also normal Gadgetbride?
Besides, what is the difference between these two versions?Today, my watch hit the 30% threshold. This are some of the notifications I got:
10:15 28%
10:29 28%
10:50 27%
11:26 27%
During the time I sat at my desk an my phone was laying on it.I'm using the latest bangle.js firmware and Bangle.js Gadgetbridge 0.76.1

Hey @Gordon
thanks for the quick reply.
You may be right that the notification only happens after a reconnect from my watch to the phone. I put my phone into flight mode at night, so I get a notification at least once a day.It feels annoying within these two days. But let me check the next time when the watch is at 30% how often I really get the notification.
But I got it right that the 30% is not a threshold introduced by the bangle.js integration but it is common for all devices supported by Gadgetbridge? In that case I might suggest the feature of configurable threshold to Gadgetbridge.

Hello,
I'm using my bangle.js 2 in conjunction of Gadgetbridge (bangle.js branch), which works great.
However, Gadgetbridge informs on low battery when the battery is at 25%. The threshold should be lower (configurable), as 25% still means two days left :-)
In addition, the notification is repeated very often, although it was dismissed.Did I missed some configuration parameters?
Or should I post this issue directly to the Gadgetbridge project? Thanks for you suggestions

@Gordon It works since 10 days like a charm. Bangle.JS reconnects is all cases within seconds. Today, I updated to Firmware 2v17 without regression.
It's now definitely in a state where I can recommend the Bangle2 without concerns to my non-techy friends. -
@sconniebotland Thanks for the suggestion. I can confirm that it works with 'pair' as expected!
The watch is connected immediately after switching flight mode off!Thats great :-)

@Gordon In fact, it was deactivated in the GadtgetBridge global settings, but activated in the Device-specific configuration. However, activating it in both places does not solve my problem.
I think the problem is not that GadgetBridge it does not initiating a reconnect, but that the reconnect fails.
As you can see in my video, also manual reconnect does not work until I head over to the App Store. -
@Ocim Can you check if my workaround (connect to App Store, disconnect App Store, Connect Gadgetbridge) does also wokr on your side without restart Gadgetbridge?

Hello,
I put my smartphone to flight mode every evening. However, Gadgetbridge does not reconnect to bangle.js after turning flight mode off.
Also manually clicking on connect does not help. The only solution I found so far is, to open https://banglejs.com/apps/, connect to my device and than Gadgetbridge gets the connection. I attached a short video.
If I don't do the Chrome connection, Gadgetbridge is not going to connect to the watch.
If have the same problem with my other watch.I'm using Bangle.js Gadgetbridge 0.73.0-banglejs on an Pixel 6 running CalyxOS 4.8.0. But I had the same behaviour also on my previous Android Stock phone.
Does anybody has similar problems with re-connection after flight mode?

Hello,
I don't get any notifications on my bangle.js 2 anymore. Gadgetbridge reports, that it is connected. However, something is wrong as gadgetbridge cannot report the battery level anymore. I had the problem in the past and the workaround was to shortly connect the watch with banglejs.com/apps and than reconnect with Gadetbridge. But this doesn't works anymore.
I tried also a second watch without success.
While searching the forum, a found BagleBridge and GadgetBridge for Bangle.js. Totally new to me. So what is the recommended way to connect the watch to the phone to get notifications?
Any hints are welcome.

@Gordon No it's on Moto G8 with Android 11 and nRF Toolbox 2.9.0

Finally, I got my watch updated :-)
I started the upload process via the nRF Toolbox over and over again (approx. 20 times) as mentioned by @ajkm and slowly progressed towards 100%.
The trick was to touch the watch (do not not reboot to enter DFUTarg mode with waiting for "==="). It is automatically in DFUTarg mode when the emergency screen is there. Thanks for the support. Now I have to test al the new apps added in the meantime :-)

@Mi Did I get you right that you have issues in flashing the latest 2v11 version?
I have the same problem. The upload gets stuck every time between 8 and 25%. The Bangle just says "ERROR".
Interestingly, now the update starts immediately at 23%. But it still gets stuck at about 46%. -

As waiting for the Bangle.js 2 to arrive is harder than waiting for Santa Claus, I created a simple Node-RED flow to keep me informed on the postage status.
It checks every hour the status on https://banglejs.com/pixels. The backer number and the corresponding mail address need to be configured in the node "CONFIG ME!" and the flow has to be activated.I connected the output of the flow to my Pushover notification, so I'm always informed :-)
Please do not abuse https://banglejs.com/pixels with too much requests!
I highly appreciate that @Gordon is keeping the backers informed on every progress, it would be sad if he had to stop the service.Happy waiting,

My goal is to read the items from a CalDAV server (Nextcloud in my case).
As it is somewhat specific, I'll keep it separated for now.The original Grocery app stores the items in the file "grocery" after first start or update. So I intended to change that file. I'll have a look into simpletimer and might adapt Grocery accordingly.
Thanks for guidance.

I started to write a virtual app to update the shopping list of the Grocery app:
https://github.com/avanc/BangleApps/treeĀ/master/apps/grocery_syncNo app shall be installed on the device but just data updated. However, there is no type for this and the current version also adds an entry in the app list on the device.
Are there any ideas how to solve this? I saw that the app assistedgps does something similar. However, only data is written into RAM.
Hey,
while cleaning my desk I stumbled across my Bangle.js 1. As I don't need it anymore (my wrist is wearing Bangle.js 2 for 24/7), I'm searching someone interested in that device.
So if you are willing to pay the shipping from Germany to you, feel free to contact me directly.
