App Loader Firmware Update Hangs

I am trying to update the firmware in my Bangle.js 2 from 2v19 to 2v21 through the App Loader. It looks like it has hung up ~30% through the update process (the status bar has been stuck there for several hours). The watch still says "Uploading fwupdate..." and appears to still be paired.

Has anyone else run across this? Can I close the browser and restart the process without bricking the watch?

And if you connect to the web ide https://www.espruino.com/ide/ and then try again with the app loader maybe you can find out what happens by looking at the web ide console output on the left hand side.

Yes, it's designed such that if the update doesn't complete you can close and there are no problems.

Maybe just try again and see if that helps? Also if you were doing it via the app loaded in Gadgetbridge maybe try disconnecting from Gadgetbridge and doing it direct via Chrome in https://banglejs.com/apps
