More so, if anyone can explain to me how the themes menu works on the program, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi - yes, Morphyre is my old project.
I stopped doing work on it and started giving it away for free almost 10 years ago. Every year it costs me money even to continue to host it, so I can't continue to offer any support for it.
The rendering is done in C++, using OpenGL directly. There's no underlying engine like Unreal/etc.
I guess you're talking about the Themes menu in the personal version of Morphyre? As I recall when you select a theme it ensures that the next scene that is changed to is of that 'theme' type - I think it's as simple as that

How do visualization projects like this work?
Any idea what 3D rendering software was used to make most of these?
