Hey @Gordon,
Please add me to the testers list, I'd love to help out. I also mirror @Cthulhu's thanks for your hard work. I'll test the crap out of it, I use my bangle hard. -
Hey Gordon,
I would definitely like changing and saving the settings on the phone. I have gone through 4 or so corruptions and it's painful to remember to change all of the settings. Having it read the settings app on the bangle and then using that to change the settings on the phone sounds like a really really awesome feature. -

I got an answer back!

Hi John,Thanks for reaching out!
All the fonts you indicated—Scelet AF, Sienar AF, Rogue AF, and Aurebesh AF—are free to use for non-commercial projects.
From your email, it sounds as though the watch faces will be free to download. If that is the case, you're good to go!
I would appreciate attribution to AurekFonts, as you suggested, (though I don't think these licenses technically require it).
And lastly, I'd love to see what you make! Feel free to send me links or images when you have them! (You can also tag me on twitter @AurekFonts.)
Again, thanks for reaching out. I can't wait to see what you make!

Hey @Gordon,
That makes sense, I wonder if you could read the 'auto' buttons that the notification has and choose from and send those. Also canned messages would be cool too. -
Ya that's a good point. I can reach out and see what they say.
EDIT: I updated the fonts that have permissible licenses. I'll reach out for the last few.

Hello Aurek Fonts,
I am emailing you about a watch which allows normal humans to make free watchfaces for. We were wondering if we could use the following fonts in a couple watchfaces. The fonts themselves must be converted, so there is no way for us to re-distribute the original watchface. We can do a link back to your page where the font was and attribute it to you.The watchfaces cannot be purchased but are simply downloaded and no one will make any money off of this, if you agree; we'd love to use these fonts. We'll make sure the name is maintained as well. The github is MIT licensed, and the watch OS is open source as well (https://github.com/espruino/BangleApps)
I'm not affiliated with BangleJS, but I am a fan of your work and the Bangle and may start making watch faces of my own, perhaps with these fonts. Thank you for your time!

Cool! I found some star wars fonts. These would make excellent watches.

These following have interesting numerals for symbol watch faces. Some are similar, but could make really interesting watchfaces, the normal numbers in here are really cool too.

https://aurekfonts.github.io/?font=DomabeshConsole (license simply states: "This font is free for everyone, forever.")

Hey @Gordon,
I think this is actually my phones fault. I received an update and it's more stable now. I think we can call this one resolved. -
-
I tried the update, it's getting better.
- Seconds don't turn off when the setting is set.
- The hint font is the opposite colour of the theme (black theme has black font), and there's a white box partly covering the bottom seconds row from behind with the hint partly on top.
- The hint shows up with a double tap, even when locked. Not sure if this is supposed to happen.

Very awesome! I loaded it up. The hint doesn't hide correctly, I'm getting garbage on the screen when it's deactivated. Second, the hint impacts the display of the binary. Third, the seconds shouldn't update so often when the watch is locked. Perhaps every 8 bits? Like 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 8, 16... that way we wouldn't use so much power.
Ideas for improvement: Perhaps it could be bigger, it could use more space. If it was right to the edge, it would make the watch appear bigger. Looks like it could be almost a third bigger.
I love it! It's super cool, and it would make it faster for me to read binary. -
Hey @Gordon,
My headunit and a bluetooth headphone adapter both do this, they're just normal bluetooth audio devices. My bangle isn't on media or anything other then the standard bluetooth setting. I have made sure that Gadgetbridge isn't sleeping or anything, it's specifically when I get auto-connected. I then notice that I'm not getting notifications on the phone and it's disconnected.
This idea of a keep alive might be worthwhile when your app is done though, perhaps.
I wonder if it's related to the media notifications. I'm willing to test if we have a way to do so. -
@Gordon, doesn't install for me either. I sent the notice that the Google Play console sent. I'm assuming it's because I have gadgetbridge already installed?
Also, is there a way to get caller ID on the watch?
