• The hacky (but cheap!) way to do this is to use one of those Micro SD -> SD adaptors and solder to it - see the end of this page: http://www.espruino.com/File+IO

    You could solder pins to it and poke it straight into breadboard, so you don't have to use wires.

    A micro SD card is one of those boards, but I'm out of stock at the moment and actually the SD card connector that's used can be a bit difficult to get hold of.

    You can get Micro SD adaptors pretty easily, but ideally you want one that doesn't have any chips on the board. The ones with chips generally convert voltage levels to 5v for older arduinos, but Espruino uses 3.3v so you don't need any of that.
