Espruino is a JavaScript interpreter for low-power Microcontrollers. This site is both a support community for Espruino and a place to share what you are working on.

Sounds very similar to what I experienced above.
I could choose to save the data on the watch and later download it to my laptop with the Espruino Web IDE.
