@user139891 the IDE won't connect to the Bangle in bootloader mode (unless you do it via the flasher menu) - did you try connecting with the NRF Toolbox app?
And have you definitely tried connecting from a different device?
@user141797 have you definitely tried the steps above? When did it stop working, or have you never been able to connect?
I have seen one or two watches where bluetooth stopped working, however by far the vast majority of issues are software related - either turning bluetooth off in settings, having the Bangle paired with a device's OS or even just the device you're connecting with needing a restart.
