How do I get my Bangle.js to show Fahrenheit weather?

Posted on
  • I'm using the plain old Weather app on my Bangle.js 1. Even though I

    1. set units to Imperial in Gadgetbridge
    2. set temperature units to Fahrenheit in Weather Notification's built-in skin preferences

My Bangle.js insists on showing Celsius. How do I change this?

  • Install the Languages app and pick the en_US language

  • That worked, thanks. Surprised I didn't see anything about this elsewhere.

  • Anywhere you looked that you think it should be mentioned? It's one of the recommended apps on the wiki: https://github.com/espruino/BangleApps/wiki

  • Usually things ask for your language when you first boot it up. You could also change the App Loader's design to show "apps" with browser config (eg OpenStreetMap, Languages) inside the About section, instead of as a normal app.

  • Maybe it could it be mentioned on the watch, at Settings -> System -> Locale? I think it's the first place anyone looks, before going to the internet.

Something like 'More' -> Opens a dialog explaining about the Languages app
