Backlight time on issue

My watch has updated to 2v11. I have noticed an issue with the backlight feature. No matter what time I select for the backlight to stay on, it always goes off after roughly 5 seconds. I set the backlight time for 30 seconds, 45, even 60 and it still turns off after 5 seconds.

might be worth connecting through the IDE and checking what the timeout value is set in the settings.json file. The change the value and check that the change was reflected.

I had this issue. Solved it by doing "rewrite settings" under utilities.

Edit: this was after updating settings app, not firmware but may still work.

Yes, rewrite settings is what you need.

On 2v11 and later this shouldn't happen, BUT if you had something else, the error occurred, then you updated, you'll still have the error until you do rewrite settings
