The default reset button is BTN3 (the bottom one). Press it longer than 3 seconds and it will return you to the default clock.

Or did you write to flash?

I purposely only wrote to RAM
The problem started when BTN3 did not return me to the clock (though it did in the past) And when I do BTN1-BTN2 then BNT1 it reboots back to the flashing LED app.

I uninstalled the bootloader and reinstalled it and seem to be on the mend ...

I think most likely what you did (whether you intended to or not) is uploaded the Web IDE's default flashing light example to flash memory, which overwrote the bootloader.
Glad you got it solved by updating it :)
I have the flashing app (red dot) on the screen and all I can do is BTN1/BNT2 reboot and even holding BNT1 down doesn't clear the app and nothing else works.
What now?
