Wow, that's an odd one. I'm not really sure what to suggest there.
About the only thing I can think of is the phone has some problem with your Bangle's MAC address.
You could try connecting to the Bangle and running
NRF.setAddress("ff:ee:dd:cc:bb:aa random");then disconnecting and seeing if your phone can see it then?
