If you get
STMicroelectronics Virtual COM portI guess it means you managed to flash the firmware on it properly - does it say 'Espruino' on the LCD display?The error you're getting is probably because Windows needs drivers for the COM port. I thought Windows 7 was fine, but maybe 64 bit isn't. Try following the Windows 8 instructions on this page and see if it helps...
