Actually, I think I just figured it out. http://www.st.com/web/catalog/mmc/FM141/SC1169/SS1031/LN1565/PF164476 reports that the chip only has 64kb of flash, and I believe I recall reading that Espurino has trouble at 128kb, so that would make this a "no".

I'm interested in Espruino and would like to play around with it, but I'd prefer a less expensive board. I saw this one here http://www.electrodragon.com/product/stm32-mini-dev-board-stm32f103c8t6-arm/ which is listed as having a STM32F103C8 for about $8 which would be a little easier to swallow. But, I don't see that CPU listed on http://www.espruino.com/Other+Boards so I'm just curious - should it work in principle?
If it is compatible, what would you recommend to use as a programmer? It has a microUSB plug on the board, and I also have an FTDI friend available - would either of those work?
Thanks and sorry for the cheep/noobish questions :)
