I have a Banglejs2. I've posted before about my heart rate being measured too low. This seems fixed since a firmware upgrade at some point, I don't remember when.
About a week ago I noticed that the HRM was getting really hot, whenever it measured. Battery life went down drastically.
I've tried older firmware versions, factory resets, data&app deletion but it still gets hot. However, the measured value seems correct. What does that mean?

Hi Gordon, haven't been on the forum for a while. Now I was looking through it because my barometer seems to have been broken. No more readings for a week or so :(
And yes–I personally care a lot about the barometer. Still planning to write a GPS-calibrated barometric altimeter. That probably needs way less battery than alt by GPS. Also to judge the weather. But I get it, waterproof would be nice.
Anyway, any ideas what I could do about the sensor?
EIDT: just read the other threads. Will try out firmwares (I think I'm on 15) and battery flattening.
Thanks. The explanation makes sense to me. Although I'm not aware of any water exposure-definitely not swimming or showering–but who knows. I attached a photo, I don't remember what it looked like before. The two windows on the side do look different from the top/bottom ones. The right is dark, the left is a bit darker on one half (not really visible on the photo).
Did you just pry the window open from outside?
