Hi Gordon, any news on the Puck Lites?
Looking forward to it!! 😀
Ps @Gordon I’m looking forward to the Puck Lite! It might be a game-changer for my products...
my original choice (puck) is def the way to go then! Thanks for pointing out the rather crucial bit I totally missed!!!!!🙏🏼
Is it possible to use pico with a coin cell battery for a web ble IFTTT application?
Thanks Gordon! I’d like to connect a tactile switch to an Espruino controller - crucially powered by coin cell batteries - to communicate with IFTTT, so that means Web BLE, yes? It’s my understanding that only puck.js is happy with Coin cells for this type of application? Is that right?
“The Puck JS I understand has a switch built into its case that can switch LEDs on etc. Can I hard wire/replace the built in switch with a [different] switch”
Did you get any guidance on how to do this? 🙏🏼 I’d like to do this also.
Hurrah, thanks so much for your help @Robin, although I had followed the early instructions, I hadn’t a clue why the page wasn’t ‘appearing’ properly. Your reply helped me to understand that I had to look elsewhere to find the Github Page and also wait a while. I’d been trying a similar task yesterday and looking in the right place, but way too soon. Thanks from a newbie!
Gordon, Hi! Thanks so much for your tutorial. I am a complete newbie and I’m struggling to understand why I can’t see this properly:
I know I am supposed to be seeing a ‘press to start’ button, but all I am seeing is the code.
Am I looking for the file in the wrong place? Have I pasted the code in the wrong way? I’d appreciate any help anyone might offer; I am very new to this.
