Is your board powered from the Mac's USB? Try powering it from a wall supply or something that isn't connected to a computer.
When Espruino detects it has a USB connection, it uses that for communications instead of Bluetooth - leaving Bluetooth unresponsive.
Or if you were to connect via USB as well as Bluetooth and type
Serial1.println("Hello")
then it might appear on Bluetooth?
Hi,
My hc-05 isn't working.
I soldered two pins on each corner, and when I was done, I connected it to a power source.
It pops up on my mac, and I open the web ide and it also shows up.
So I connect, and the web ide says connected, but it only shows
Connected
and when I type something it doesn't appear on the prompt.
with picocom, same thing happens, but the > doesn't appear.
But both says that it is connected.
