The board has a 3.3v regulator on-board, so just power it from the header pins marked "Bat" - and yes, 3.6-15v is fine.

The board has a 3.3v regulator on-board, so just power it from the header pins marked "Bat" - and yes, 3.6-15v is fine.
It's not really clear to me what voltage is expected when I am powering the board via the pin headers.
Does it need to be 3.3V? Or does the same voltage range as for the battery connector apply (3.6-15)?
The background for this question is that I am planning to use my board in a 12V circuit.
