Hi - sorry for the delay replying, I was off over the holiday period.
Thanks for your work looking into all the possibilities - the fact that you have a second one that appears to be fine definitely seems to point to this being a hardware issue.
The one thing that'd really clinch it is if pinching in the top right of the 4b09 bangle suddenly made it show up in Bluetooth when it wasn't before.
Where did you get the watches from, and how long ago, and what country are you in?
