I thought it was the ID of the Bluetooth connection. Now I also understand why we cannot change it into something else.Cheers, Bjorn
Yes, just uninstall it. It doesn't do anything useful.
It's designed to display the last digits of the Bluetooth ID (like appears when you connect/pair) so if you have more than one device (eg in a classroom) you know what you're connecting to.
It's on by default because it's quite common for unis/companies to buy more than one device and get running with them out the box, in which case they kind of need it. It's only a few seconds for you to remove it though
