I'd maybe enable debug logging in Gadgetbridge and then maybe take a look at the log from Gadgetbridge and see if it's seeing the notifications message that comes in?
But it is possible it's something about Samsung's music player. Maybe if you used some other kind of music player app rather than Samsung's built in one it might work?

I will take a look to debug mode but for player - Spotify nor youtube (music) gave me the option to sync messages.

Yup - totally my fault. Forgot I gave access to specific app and music players were not included.
If music is playing messages app goes directly do music notification and dont allow me to go back until I pause it. Is it desired? -

That's odd, you should be able to get back out of it to the list of messages - does a long-press take you back to the clock?

long press - go back to clock, short press - go back to launcher / clock depends what triggered (via clockinfo shortcut, launcher or qmenu)

Ok, so if you then go back into the messages app, what happens? Does it go straight to music again?
Hi,
This is probably related to phone model / android version ( Samsung S20FE )
I can play / pause music but as gadgetbridge is not sending music message to be handled - i have to trigger it by myself (thanks for messagesmusic for this purpose).
I triple-checked that GB have permission to notifications. Is there something more that I can do?
Or in Samsung is lost cause?
I can successfully debug music message into watch so for sure no problem there.
