Hi,
It's not expected that you get a USB connection to the PC - while the charge cable has a USB connected on it, it's for charging, not USB data.
Maybe you could try plugging the cable into a different USB charger to see if that helps? Also try leaving the Bangle on for a few hours - and to wake it you'll need to hold the button for at least one second.
Did anything happen to your Bangle to make it stop working?

Hi Gordon,
tanks for the answer. Leaving did not help.Nothing happened to it - it was only some months unused in the drawer.
Can i send it to GB for a service? -

Hi - am I right in thinking this is a Bangle.js from the original KickStarter campaign?
There's not a great deal we can do I'm afraid - by the time you've sent it back from Germany and it's been returned, postage alone ends up being quite a lot, and then because they're not easily opened the cost of us trying to open it, figure out what's wrong and reseal means realistically it'd have been cheaper just getting a new watch.
What I have been doing in these cases is where you've got a Bangle and something's gone wrong out of guarantee, I'm offering to send you a new one half price, so that could be an option.
One final thing you could try though, before completely writing off your Bangle, is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omIQ9mQTB7Q
It's extremely rare something like that is needed, but at this point it could be worth a try!
FOR OTHERS READING THIS: Please try this only as a last resort - it's very rare this is ever needed, and would only be useful if it was possible that your watch had gone completely and utterly flat

You are right - this was a Kickstarter watch.
I tried a jump start, but no response.
So I want to accept your offer of a new one half prize that is fair. How do I order and pay?

Hi,
I have the same problem, my banglejs2 doesn't switch on, and it doesn't react to the charger as well.
I ordered it in the middle of August. It isn't a Kickstarter watch.
I see that, yesterday it was 68% charged and dropped connection to my phone, I think that was the last time it worked. It doesn't get any punch or water.
I scraped off the tape and tried, what the video said, but nothing happened.
Is this a good place to discuss this?

@CharlieBrown1a thanks for trying it - email sent.
@user156862 sorry to hear about your Bangle - this is probably as good a place as any to discuss it.
So just to be clear, you don't normally turn off the Bangle or anything - just one day it spontaneously stopped working while it still had a decent amount of charge on it?
What happens if you long-press the button for around 30 seconds or so? Are there any signs of life at all?
And since you scraped off the tape already, is it possible you have a volt meter handy? If so it would be very interesting to check the voltage across those two pads that the video showed to apply power to.

Hi Gordon,
I didn't turn it off, and didn't notice the issue before morning. From this point, it doesn't response to any length of button press, and it doesn't charge at all.
I measured all the pins, and I saw 0 Volt between all of the pins.
Thank you for your help!

Ok, thanks for checking all that!
I have seen some devices where the battery cable got pinched under the PCB during assembly, and eventually with every way wear and tear it wore through, so that could be what's happened here - it'd be nice to try and get it back and find out though.
I'll ask Christine to get in touch about getting you a replacement
My JS2 does not react anymore.
A long press of the button shows no reaction and the USB-Connection to a PC does nothing.
It seems like an empty or defect battery - loading does not help.
Who can help?
