Espruino is a JavaScript interpreter for low-power Microcontrollers. This site is both a support community for Espruino and a place to share what you are working on.

Personally, I use the nRF52DK just because the tools for it work well. As I understand it though if you're using OpenOCD you can you pretty much any device you want.
