I'd imagine it is unlikely that it landed right on the button, but maybe it landed on its front and the button PCB came loose. It might actually be that banging it on its back a bit where the button is would reposition the button PCB?
But otherwise I can't really offer a repair service - it's just not worth my time doing it. As I've mentioned on other posts if it's broken I'm very happy to offer a big discount on a new one though.
It's possible that someone local to you on the forum might be willing to take a look at fixing it? Maybe even a high street phone repair shop?
