Honestly, it sounds like you've probably got a defective Bangle. It seems a few of the KickStarter batch didn't have very good reflow of the solder, and the aerial connection from the chip would break over time. One way to check for sure would be to see if you pinch the Bangle hard in the top-right hand corner (over where the nRF52 chip is), sometimes while you're holding it the Bluetooth connection will come back.
So I'll arrange for you to get a replacement. I'll drop you an email in a bit asking for your address.
