I like my own strap: comfortable, practical, cheap (a few dollars). The watch can be quickly removed and put on the hand, as well as quickly adjust the length of the strap. Also, the strap can be used as a screen protector if you need to hide the watch in your bag.
I do not think that everyone needs such a strap by default, but perhaps as a second one?
