You can still pick up SMA Q3 watches on Alibaba sometimes - some folks here have quite recently. However bear in mind that they may be of the original batch that has zero waterproofing.
Also you still have to install the firmware. If you were to have to buy an nRF52DK or Raspberry Pi to flash the watch (as well as doing the wiring) you would likely have to spend more money on hardware than just buying a Bangle.js in the first place.
