I made a PR for introducing settings to 'Touch keyboard' making it possible to use it similarly to how dragboard works. I personally think the qwerty layout is better than the alphabetical row I used for dragboard.
The updated keyboard can be loaded from my app loader.
Select settings as suggested in the readme to mimic dragboard behavior.
