Ok, please can you try one other thing - try leaving the watch to charge somewhere warm (~50'C max) - maybe on top of a radiator or something.
Sometimes if the watch runs out of battery when warm and it had the old bootloader that attempted to turn on immediately, when charging is attempted when it's cold and the battery is capable of supplying even less power, the startup power required can be too much for the battery and it shuts off again.
