Ok, thanks - when/if the watch does get power from the charger, it won't turn on immediately. You'll need to hold the button down for a few seconds to get it to start.
Another thing to watch out for - just in case - is to see if it's still advertising on Bluetooth. There is a small possibility that the screen has stopped working.
