Trying to update firmware via Web IDE also fails: After selecting "Bangle.js 2" IDE gives following message and doesn't even try to update firmware.
The firmware for this device can only be written via Web Bluetooth (or a phone app). Please see you device's reference page for more information on firmware updates.
Is there any other way to update Bangle.js 2 firmware?

Hi - looks like you closed this - did you get it working? What did you do in the end?
The Samsung A8 should definitely have been able to update the firmware - maybe bluetooth had got confused and it just needed a restart?

Yes I solved it: I didn't realize that I needed to enable Location before starting NRF Toolbox app, just answering Yes when app asks for Location-permission isn't enough.
When I try to update firmware of my Bangle.js 2 using the instructions here, in step "Tap Select Device and choose the device called
DfuTarg
" I get "No device found".I'm using "Samsung A8 (2018)" which has Android 9.
