I'm pretty sure there's no chance of it - the LCD actually changes polarity a few times a second (you'll see mention of Ghosting in some threads here from when it pauses sometimes), and the change stops any kind of burn-in.
... but I've been doing all sorts with these watches for over a year while developing and I've never seen permanent damage
