Ok, there is an
increased_mtubranch and I just brought it up to date with the recent fixes. Maybe you could try a build from http://www.espruino.com/binaries/travis/396d5b50fb378206a14de067222a88487ac063bc/ and see if you have any success with longer reads?I tried it with my phone as a central with a long characteristic, but that didn't work - I don't know if that's because the phone isn't using long MTUs though!
