I'm afraid not - I found the red ones were more reliably good than the blue, and that if there was a problem it tended to be because the metal clips weren't folded out enough that they actually clipped the PCB itself.
I was planning on selling kits with them too (in fact I did for the KickStarter campaigns), but because I couldn't find a reliable supplier I decided not to. In the end, I made my own device - but it's with a totally different LCD: http://www.espruino.com/Pixl.js
