Espruino is a JavaScript interpreter for low-power Microcontrollers. This site is both a support community for Espruino and a place to share what you are working on.

Thanks! I'll update the docs.
The default is actually true - it's unfortunate, but I try to make sure that when stuff like this changes, code that was written before will still work on the same way.
