@OwenBrotherwood thanks - some better docs for Noble would be great.
@TonyRandall I guess it's possible that your Bluetooth radio just isn't supported by Noble - what make is it? If you're willing, it looks like the easiest way to get it working might be to buy a cheap CSR Bluetooth 4 dongle - they're usually only around £5 delivered.
