Hi MaBe.
On this board esp8266-01:
It works well.
1v84.tve_master_588d193_esp8266
boot with version 1.4 is no problem.
But
espruino_1v87.tve_master_b3dc05b_esp8266
espruino_1v89_esp8266
do not work!
I think there is a problem with boot version 1.6
