@stevie, with a not running Espruino boils down to what BLE consumes. Even advertising is without Espruino running. Pins keep their state practically power less, and as long as they are not sourcing or a pull-up is going on, it should still be what BLE consumes.
Of course, this does not answer the questions where the pins are driving something...
