Ahh, great! - I reckon you could probably check the USB Product and Vendor IDs pretty reliably, and presumably they are available in a similar way.
If you did do it, it'd be great if you could submit it as a change for: https://github.com/espruino/EspruinoTools/blob/gh-pages/bin/espruino-cli.js#L273
