I'm planning on going through and tidying all the spacing up. Honestly, I think it's this level of detail that makes all the difference.
Regarding spacing, I'd say keep it as is. An air-ey interface makes it look simpler and cleaner IMO, and once everything has been evened out and lined up, I think it'll look pretty tight.
