Wow, that's amazing - shame there don't seem to be many in England, and none near me.
I spent quite a while trying to get stocked in Radio Shack - just as well it didn't happen now!
As far as soldering the USB, I find it's not too bad with some flux - then the surface tension tends to wick the solder right under the connector.
