@avanc, yes that works too. I think somehow the connection is not removed on the watch when the phone switches off Bluetooth. If I walk too far from the phone the watch will reconnect to it when I return in range. But if I turn off Bluetooth it does not reconnect after turning Bluetooth back on.
Can you try if the watch reconnects when you walk out of range and then return in range? -

It did not work, tried it a few times via the Android DFU app and got an error (see attached). Then I tried it this morning using the Web IDE but that tried to flash the default v17 automatically before I could select the file. I hit the cancel button but that was a mistake because now I the watch is not doing booting properly anymore and I get a bank0 invalid message. I cannot connect to the watch anymore, so I guess it is bricked?

I may not have been clear, the widgets are not needed when the clock is visible but when you leave the clock and go into the launcher / messages notification they are also not showing. And that is when I would like them to appear again. With other clocks this is the case.
Pity that you are no longer developing the Rebble clock, I really liked it.
Thanks -
Hi, quick question on the Rebble clock. Is it intentional that there are no widgets anymore when this one is running?
I am using the "clock widget" to always have the time available (when reading messages for example). But with Rebble it does not work. When I use LCARS for example it works well.

Yes, I used the IDE to push that to the watch. The screen changed from the NoFlash watchface (Anton Clock) to only display 25:00
After that I restarted the watch and it booted into the default watchface again.
Then I flashed it with the normal 2v16 again but unfortunately it is stuck on the MAC address screen again
I will go back to the NoFlash version so at least I have a clock again. Perhaps it will even let me install a few apps before memory is full. -
I just tried flashing the "NoFLASH" version found in this post:
https://forum.espruino.com/comments/16699364/
and that works, the watch boots into the watchface.
However as soon as I flash the regular 2v16 it gets stuck at the MAC address screen. -
Seems my Bangle is suffering from the same issue. Saturday night I went to sleep with the watch on the bedside table. In the morning the screen was scrambled a bit and the watch did not wake up in respond to the button press. I did a reboot and the watch went into an erasing memory mode on boot (2v16 feature I think?) and this took several hours to complete (left connected to the charger). Now when it boots it goes into "checking memory" for half a minute and then it shows the screen with MAC address.
I tried to flash 2v16 again but it made no difference.
Drained the battery overnight and still the same behaviour. -
Thanks @Gordon for the quick fix!

Hi, is it possible to keep a message notification on screen until I action it?
I have tried many different settings but no matter what I try the message will always disappear after a while.
With the setting "unread timer" set to OFF I was hoping to get the behavior that I was looking for but unfortunately that keeps it on screen for ~1 minute.
Is it possible to keep a message on screen with another setting config?
There are also "Vibrate timer" and "Repeat" settings but I have no idea what these do.
Thanks -

More buttons also allows you to do things without having to look at the watch, for example increase the volume or decline a call
