The only app that I now really miss from my Pebble is the Drink Counter:
https://www.reddit.com/r/pebble/comments/304ol2/app_drink_counter_preview_for_pebble_time/Does anyone have the time to work on this? I might be willing to help, but time and skills are limited :)

Where is that emoji banging the head on the table?
@Gordon thanks, that was the case :) PR is on the way... -
Yes, right, I assumed that. Probably there is no error when connected to Android; but it's not sending keys though.
I got the feeling that my Android pairing is not correct because the app starts fine but no key is received. How do the pairing settings usually look like when HID is set to Keyboard + Media? -
So, I am trying to adjust
https://banglejs.com/apps/?id=hidcam
for Bangle.js 2Now, I come to the error
Error: Error: ERR 0x8 (INVALID_STATE) (:3068)
with this piece of code:
try { NRF.sendHIDReport([0,code], () => { // <---- Error comes here NRF.sendHIDReport([0,0], () => { if (cb) cb(); }); }); } catch(e) { print(e); }
Any idea?
Got the same with the original https://banglejs.com/apps/?id=hidmsicswipe. So I think I just have a misconfigured bluetooth on my Android. The Watch is showing HID=Kbrd+Media in settings, but Android Bluetooth settings only show "Input device". Is that normal?

With the new messages app version the widget does not hide when reading the message on the phone. It stays flashing there until I open the launcher on the watch.
Is this only me?Edit: for reproduction I like to describe the process:
- Receiving an email on the phone
- Watch displays the message with checkmak and X
- Do not press any of them - just leave the watch until the message closes
- Now read the email on the phone
- previously the notification widget on the watch got closed by this. But with the new version it's still there. To cancel that, go to the launcher and back.
(BTW: nice icons with the new version! The letter icon looks a bit too wide and reaches the next widget on the right)
- Receiving an email on the phone

So, I am using the watch quite a while and it's still awesome; but I still don't get how the lock / LCD off mechanism works.
In the LCD settings I got the "LCD Timeout" and the "wake on ..." settings. And I got this little lock on the top left corner.
Is this all connected (i.e. the same)? Or are there acutally separate settings for locking, switching off the screen and switching off the backlight?
Why am I asking?: I'd love to have the watch unlocked all the time but the LCD backlight should switch off after a certain time. -

@Gordon I still have issues with Emojis on Android with e.g. Whatsapp. A heart emoji is e.g. shown as a questionmark on the watch which leads to confusion from time to time :) Is there anything I can try out or is this a known issue?

Unfortunately that is some skill I cannot provide :(
So, guys, are there suggestions for highly customizable free E-Mail apps that provide the body and support IMAP of a non-standard provider like Google or Microsoft?
K9Mail is pretty deprecated; Fairemail is deprecated and doesn't provide the body and Bluemail also doesn't support the body. -
OK, got it. Can't you add an option to let the custom BangleApps show the official and current appdates.csv?
I use my personal BangleApps with my Gadgetbridge to use the most recent builds of my apps. But at the same time I really would like to sort for the date (even if my personal newer apps are not considered). This would allow me to use it better on a daily base as I can discover new things more easily.
Another option would be to make Gadgetbridge more convinient. It would be great if we could have the official BangleApps and a personal BangleApps available by just selecting it with a radio button or so from the home screen. At the moment I would need to remove the link and add it back when I want to use my personal thing. Or am I using the whole thing in a wrong way? -

Just wondering if we can't add a date additionally to the version in each metadata.json to indicate when an app has been released. That would allow BangleApps to sort for release date. So with each commit you won't need to browse the log to identify if there are new apps. That would also allow to make an automatted "What's new".

Oh, i see. I actually get a title and a body with content in gbdebug. Looks like gadgetbridge is providing the info but the messages app doesn't show it.
Edit: NOW I get it; it's providing the subject in the body part. @Gordon can we change this somehow in Gadgetbridge?
The ID of BlueMail is 1656015154 by the way :) -
Are you guys really getting the actual message on the watch? Is this actually implemented?
When firing this
GB({"t":"notify","id":1575479849,"src":"Hangouts","title":"A Name","body":"message contents"})
I get title and body of the message. When receiving an E-Mail with BlueMail or FairEmail, I only get the title. Can somebody confirm if this has been implemented (maybe only for other apps)?

Had the same issue here http://forum.espruino.com/conversations/376829/ and somehow goofed it out eventually.
Actually both :)
