Hi @Gordon,
Bangle2 was working like a charm until now, This morning i noticed i had to plug it as the battery was running low. But unfortunately I forgot and it ran out of battery. Not a big deal so far.
So I plugged it... and nothing : the screen remains blank and off, not buzzing when the wire is set on, nothing.
I ve been waiting a few hours, expecting it would take a time before charging, I changed for another USB adapter, and then another. Still nothing.
The back of the watch looks ok, the contactors too. The wire seems ok too. No corrosion.
I' m a bit lost and confused, anything I could check to have a clue of the problem (hoping the watch is fine) ?Edit : forgot to mention it s the kickstarter one, and that I recently upgraded the firmware and bootloader. It would have been the first charge since then

that s right i don’t struggle any more to select or browse the menus. welldone !
But i noticed the schedule of the quiet mode don’t work anymore, as there are only off modes available
EDIT : in fact it s just the display. Instead of ´´off’´ , ´´silent’´ , and ´´alarm’´ , it displays three times the one that is actually set up
It found that issue in each menu of same kind in other apps
Edit : still the case with 2v12.45 -

the messages app is great for its simplicity. It is easy to access and to be able to consult the messages very quickly, a bit like on the phone.
I am not sure that multiplying the menus/settings would go in this direction.
These additional options (delete messages, read them, etc.) accessible from a simple icon suit me perfectly.
Being able to access them also from the list of messages would simply be a plus, as one of these options concerns precisely the list of messages. But I'm open to what you can offer, you do wonders every time

ok, thank you, i figured it out thanks to your screenshots.
the menu is reachable from an opened message/notification, and not form the messages list as i thought (my screenshot)
IMHO, it would be useful to be able to erase the list of message from the list of messages as some messages are notifications and cannot be opened (aka music notification)and to answer to your question, yes. When i open messageApp from the launcher the curved arrow and the back do the same thing : go back to clock

Sounds great news ! thanks
I'll give a try at it, thank you very much @user113695 -
is there any chance that someone would like to adapt this nice app for the Bangle2?
@user113695 maybe ? -
@RaoulDuke, i’ m using your Contour clock and had the same issue of frozen time a few days ago in the morning. Only holding the button put back the bangle on time.
I’ m now with your latest dev version, and no issue so far ^^ -

You can just run Compact from Utils in Settings, but I have had reports that it can 'break' the filesystem and cause everything to be reset to factory state. I am looking into that though so it should be fixed soon.
oooh, so that's what happened to my Bangle then.
Curious about this "compact" function, I clicked on it, but as the operation lasted a little long, I didn't pay attention to it anymore.
A few hours later, I found my Bangle stuck on an error screen and had to do a reboot, which left me with a Bangle empty of any app.
But I hadn't made the connection with the fact that I had started the compaction.
Via WebIDE, I could see that some files were still here, as well as files with names containing random characters that I never managed to delete.
I restored the Bangle and the applications that had disappeared, but the corrupted files are still here...Not a big deal, but I'm glad to know that it was my curiosity that made me get this

Hello Gordon, and thanks for taking the time to look at my slight problem.
Indeed the powersaving of the phone could have been the reason why it loses connection with the Bangle. But I checked again and GadgetBridge is indeed in the list of exclusions. And as mentioned, the case does not occur with the Bangle1.
But this nuance of Bluetooth version between the two Bangles could indeed be at stake, I'll dig on this side in the specs of my phone. It is not a very recent one and with a special OS, so it could indeed be a bug with the Bluetooth version 5
Thanks again, and I'll come back here with more information, if I find any

Sorry to bring this up again, but I can't find a reason why my BangleJS2 loses all Bluetooth connection with my phone beyond 50cm.
At first I thought it was related to GadgetBridge only. But I don't have this problem with the BangleJS1 which stays connected with GadgetBridge even beyond 10 meters, and yet the BangleJS2 doesn't lose the connection at less than 5 meters when I'm connected with the WebBLE or nRFToolbox, from the same phone or from another device.
The problem seems to be only between the Bangle2 and GadgetBridge (which are both up to date with the latest versions).
Is anyone reporting the same experience? Or would have any idea what I am doing wrong? Could it be that the way the Bangle1 and Bangle2 connect to GadgetBridge is different? Aren't the protocols or dialogs supposed to be the same?
Won't the multiple attempts to reconnect to GadgetBridge (often unsuccessful) drain the battery (in addition to the synchronization errors it already causes: time, step counter...)?Thanks in advance for any light brought to this obscure mystery
I had never used this before, so i ve just given a try to it.
in « find phone », pushing « on » made my phone ring continuously with a blue popup screen, until i pressed « off » on the bangle.
If my phone is setup to mute, obviously only the popup shows.
