Hello,
I would like to have some clarifications about the use of AlarmTimer/Scheduler.
I was using QAlarm since it appeared on the apploader, as it allowed me to not only schedule my alarms but also to decide which day of the week which alarm should sound or not. And I also liked the ability to name the alarms, reminding me what they were for when they went off.
After Gordon's comment in one of the threads and the "not recommended" mention on Qalarm in the apploader, I decided to remove it and install Scheduler and the new Alarm/Timer.
In the Alarm/Timer app, I can create new alarms (only their time, not the day(s) they should sound) and as well new timers.
Then I don't see any list of these newly created alarms. I don't see any other menu either. The options of the Scheduler application, accessible from Settings/Apps, only allow to set buzzes and snoozes as well as their duration and repetition. Nothing else apparently.
Am I missing any menus that would allow me to finalize the programming of my alarms? Are they hidden somewhere? Is another app missing that I should have installed? In this case, a step-by-step guide for this tedious programming of simple alarms would be welcome.
But maybe this is still a work in progress, in which case I'll wait and go back to QAlarm in the meantime.
A small ergonomic remark : most menus now use the red button for an exit from the menu or a return to the parent menu. It would save the space of a line if we did the same for these two apps.
Thank you again for this huge work and for your investment to all. I am daily impatient and amazed to discover all that is created every day around this wonderful project

Since the last fix, compact storage has been reliable for me.
Not the first time it does fail to compact the storage, but it worked very well (and took only one minute) the rest of the time. And i always try to keep the firmware updated
I am seeing an off file though - might be totally unlrelated.
Could this file be similar to the corrupted files i found ?

@Gordon the last one : 2v13.6

Damn.... looks like it s happening again
After having installed a new app (the nice mountainclock) and updated a few ones (messages, LCars, health, and anotherone i cant remember which, all coming from the developping appstore), I launched a compaction action.
It s still compacting since 20minutes now.
Last time it did that, I longpressed the button to reset the watch... and lost almost all the files/apps that were on the watch.
So, trying to be a bit more patient to avoid re-installing and re-setting everything, I m now waiting for (fingers crossed) it finally manages to finish compaction (even if it somehow looks like it s stuck on something)
@Gordon if you believe i could do something to help understand what is going on (with webide for exemple) tell meEDIT : flatening the battery launched itself (I probably touch the screen while removing the watch from my wrist ?) I stopped it with the appropriate longpress as suggested.
Now the bangle is stuck on the startupscreen. I guess i lost the battle once again. All files must have gone again or corrupted -

the issue pointed by @myownself is about that too
lines starting with a 'greater than' denote quoted text return anything? That's the raw data from the sensor - it's possible it thought it wasn't against your skin, but for some reason hasn't been able to turn itself back on

hello @Gordon and thanks.
No, unfortunately I've had too many things to deal with lately and had to put aside the pleasures of BangleJS for a while.
By the way, this weBlE problem is maybe the same one that prevented me to finalize the watch backup -

I tried recording the acceleration as well, just to compare and, perhaps, get a clue as to why this app doesn't work on my bangle (or at least my wrist).
The Bangle recorded the acceleration last night but I'm now having trouble getting the CSV. Using the "Save" button brings up a progress bar, but when it gets to the end, nothing happens. No dialog, no popup. Maybe the CSV was downloaded somewhere, but where?
And maybe I should mention that I am using the webBLE app on an iPad to connect to the App loader and WebIDE (no other choice at my disposal than this device for the moment) -
-
Not sure if it s related but… Since I ve updated the Bootloader to version0.44, i cannot connect to the appstore any more (and pattrnlauncher doesnt work anymore as well)
the only way i found to have the bangle listed when trying to connect to the appstore is rebboting it with a long press on btn. But then, connecting failsEDIT : disabling HID allowed me to connect again to apploader and putting back bootloader 0.42 made patternlauncher work again

x could =1 as soon as the app is stable and had an suficient amount of feedback ?
That d be great ! I m not aware of how adding a PR though
