Are there enough countries that deviate from +1 for there to be a big problem? I've never looked closer at that particular detail.

Shouldn't be too hard to implement a counter setting similar to what is already available for the time zone though.

About daylight savings: wouldn't it just be easiest to have a toggle in settings "Daylight savings: On/Off"? When enabled it just adds +1 hour to the current time.

That way you won't have to mess with your time zone, which in turn breaks other stuff (like Gadgetbridge time sync)...

Kind of like the Torch app starts by 4 clicks of BTN3?

I'm just guessing wildly (as you might already have surmised), but have you tried "Resetting without loading any code" from the link I posted earlier?

Excellent. As soon as I receive my watch I'll give that a go (the package arrived in my country yesterday, so shouldn't be too long now).

I can get a hold of a 12mm diameter element, 0.22mm thick. Is that small enough?

Looks like that one is rated up to 16 V, which could explain why it's quiet since the original apparently is at 3 V...

Not getting a proper fix indoors is normal. And from what's been posted previously I believe the first fix can take quite some time (I haven't received mine yet, still in the mail). How long did you wait?

@Gordon I saw that people have already been starting to say this in the Kickstarter comments, but here are my 2 cents as well: Keep my part of the refund if you can get one. With all this extra troubles I'm sure you can use it better than me.

I must say your Kickstarter campaign has been exemplary. Good and timely info, and you are extremely helpful.

I'm sure a fairly large part of those that have ordered this watch are both able and willing to do the installation of the piezo themselves (especially since it might mean an upgrade). And those that aren't able, I'm pretty sure they're more than willing to learn.

Anyway... Just wanted to express my appreciation and admiration for what you do.

Good to hear that it isn't the entire shipment of watches that's affected. That would have sucked big time...
