So you actually stream the data over wifi into the e-ink display, so you don't have to worry about RAM usage? That's really neat.
I guess we've talked a bit about the power consumption at https://forum.espruino.com/conversations/380201/ so hopefully there are some ways to get it lower.
I really want to do something similar (especially as we have solar now), but the $50+ price of the bare displays seems a bit much for me when it seems you can root a second hand kindle (although it's not color, and that does add a lot).
