What is the firmware version on your Bangle at the moment?
Support for antialiased fonts (>1bpp) only got added in 2v08 so that could be your problem?
I'd need to see those errors to be any real help. If there were no errors before, and now there are errors after changing the font, they're likely related even if it doesn't seem like it.
Could share the font and what you expect to see, and maybe I could be some help?
