To answer your question: nope, no change in what you need. Since you may do soldering anyway: do you not have some old electronics that you could cannibalize? Practically any small signal transistor will do... and you will also find enough resistors to accommodate what ever needs you have. Last but not least electronics that has to go - because it is already gone - is of older, still is of thru-hole components technology.
Do your Unifones have the momentary push button installed and wired up? And if so, I assume it is 4 wires only based on the pictures you uploaded.
