I own an ACER E5-771 series laptop which has a builtin Intel bluetooth device.
Using openSUSE Leap 15.1 a lsusb gives the following output: ID 8087:07dc Intel Corp.
This one works perfectly.
Furthermore I ordered an external Bluetooth device from Amazon Germany. Search for "Yizhet USB nano Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter".
This one also works perfect with Debian Buster.
Just to clarify: The devices work well in Espruino Web IDE.
The OS'ses I used are only examples, I think they will work with other Linux'es, too

I don't know whether this thread could be useful for others but I think a list of working Bluetooth devices will be helpful for newbies.
